Senegalese civil society organisations have made a solemn appeal to the Senegalese people and the authorities of the Republic of Senegal, particularly to Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, to mobilise against enforced disappearances and the brutal repression exercised by the transitional authorities of Guinea against civil society activists.
Organisations, citizens’ movements, civil society figures and media professionals are joining forces to call for a revision of Article 255 of the Senegalese Penal Code.
